Food Network star Tobias Dorzon has spoken out for the first time since the celebrity chef was shot 11 times a year ago.
Dorzon, 40, revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that he is thankful just to be alive following the terrifying ordeal last year.
“I’m just super grateful to be here, to be in the moment, and to still be able to cook and give people an experience,” he told the outlet. “That has always been my biggest focus and my dream, to create a memorable food experience for others.”
Dorzon is known for his appearances on the Food Network, including “ Last Bite Hotel ‚” “Tournament of Champions” and “Guy’s Grocery Games,” according to his IMDb page . He was also named 2024 Maryland Chef of the Year.
