MONTANA - Governor Greg Gianforte announced that he and his wife, Susan, have joined the nation in mourning the loss of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Gov. Gianforte touted Cheney's dedication to public service, advising four presidents and serving as a member of Congress.
In a proclamation dated November 4, 2025, Governor Gianforte ordered all flags in the state to be flown at half-staff from the day of Cheney's passing until his internment.
