HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Today is Election Day, and if you're planning to vote in Harris County, here’s how to make it smoother by checking current wait times before heading out.

Air 11 showed that some polling locations had lines dozens of people long with wait times over 30 minutes.

Voting centers in Harris County are open until 7 p.m. If you’re in line by 7 p.m., you're still eligible to cast your ballot. Harris County voters can go to any polling location.
