The weary Vancouver Canucks flew home from Nashville on Tuesday. They will have little time for recovery because they’ve got the Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard to deal with on Wednesday night. Article content Article content
In the past, that might have been a ho-hum statement, no matter how wounded the Canucks are or might have been.
The Blackhawks, and Bedard as well, appear a little more cohesive this year. The Hawks are still far from a juggernaut, but they are also lining up every night hoping mostly to limit the damage.
They have actually scored two more goals than they’ve given up.
