A viewer sent On Your Side what pinged on her phone, so you know what NOT to click.

Scammers could get your name right, like they did here. The text reads:

Katrina, your recurring payment couldn’t process. Resolve the error to avoid issues.

There’s a link to click.

“I think they’re trying to get some information so they can get some money,” said Katrina Green.

Green did not click on it, but did a double-take.

“It says it’s a recurring payment, but doesn’t say from where. It doesn’t say which recurring payment. I do have a few payments that are automatic,” said Green.
