MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Former Vice President Dick Cheney has died at the age of 84.
Commonly referred to as the most powerful vice president in U.S. history, Cheney served in several top positions in Washington and visited New Hampshire when he briefly considered running for president.

"The thing I remember about Dick is that he was a no-nonsense guy," said former New Hampshire Gov. John H. Sununu, who served as chief of staff under President George H. W. Bush.
