A well-known grocer and philanthropist in South Dakota announced Nov. 4 he is donating grocery certificates to families who participate in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Effective immediately, R.F. Buche, of Team Buche Cares, said he will distribute $100 per SNAP family household redeemable at Buche Foods grocery stores in South Dakota, up to $250,000 total in gift cards on a first-come, first-served basis.
G.F. Buche Co. is a fourth-generation organization that owns Buche Foods grocery stores in 23 rural locations statewide, including Gregory, Mission, Oacoma, Pine Ridge, Sisseton, Wagner and all nine reservations.
