LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Camera systems mounted on trailers with flashing blue lights and solar panels have become a common sight along Las Vegas Valley streets, but many aren’t operated by law enforcement.

,, not to be confused with similar systems deployed by Metro Police and Henderson Police.

The private camera systems look similar to law enforcement units, featuring overhead cameras and solar panels. One key difference is branding — LiveView Technologies units display “LVT” instead of police department logos.

The cameras use artificial intelligence to detect suspicious behavior before it happens.
