The Tillamook County Creamery Association announced it will be releasing a limited-edition Butternaise spread on Nov. 6 made to create the perfect grilled cheese sandwich.

The Oregon-based dairy company weighed in on a rising social media debate over the question: Is butter or mayonnaise best on grilled cheese sandwiches?

To solve this problem, Tillamook partnered with KEWPIE , a popular Japanese mayo and dressing brand, to release its new limited-edition Butternaise spread.

"Butter? Mayo? Yes," Tillamook said when announcing the new spread on social media . "On November 6, we’re dropping the biggest thing in grilled cheese since our cheese."
