DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The Davis County Sheriff's Office has reported an increase in vehicle and weapon thefts in recent months, and they are warning the public to help prevent these crimes by locking their vehicles.

In a media release, the Davis County Sheriff's Office said that there has been "a four-month-long crime spree across Davis County." Over that time, there has been over 30 stolen firearms, 58 stolen vehicles, and more than 300 vehicles broken into.

Because of that, law enforcement agencies across the county are asking the community to help them prevent these types of crimes.
