ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The annual New York State holiday donation drive is officially underway. The initiative supports community-based organizations that assist New Yorkers during the holiday season.
Donations of new, unwrapped toys, coats and school supplies are requested. The 2025 holiday drive has been expanded to also include non-perishable food items amid Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits being withheld during the federal government shutdown.
“Generosity is a core value of the holiday season.
