BOISE, Idaho — Law enforcement is issuing a warning to the public about leaving items in plain sight in vehicles after five vehicles were broken into in Eagle early Tuesday morning.
The Ada County Sheriff's Office said Eagle Police deputies responded to reports of multiple vehicles burglaries at several parking lots near Eagle Road and Colchester Drive around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4.
Arriving deputies found four vehicles with broken windows and missing items, while a fifth vehicle was unlocked and had also had items taken, the sheriff's office said.
Deputies believe those responsible were taking items in plain sight that were "easily accessible."
