A boy was rushed to the hospital Tuesday after being hit by a stray bullet in North Philadelphia, according to the police department.
Officers with the Philadelphia Police Department were called to the intersection of 18th and Huntingdon streets in North Philly around 6:43 p.m. on Nov. 4 for a reported shooting, police said.

When the officers got to the scene they found a 12-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound, police explained. The boy was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
