BANGOR -- The Bangor Rams girl's soccer team earned their third-straight Class A North Regional title on Tuesday night after defeating the Camden Hills Windjammers 4-1.
For the Rams, it all started in the first minute of the game when senior winger Gabby Roy got out into space and fired a shot to the far side of the net to put Bangor up 1-0 very early on.
Not too long later, Roy again added to the scoresheet. But this time, she created the space herself with a nice move around two defenders before sniping one just inside the post, giving the Rams a 2-0 advantage.
Senior Clara Oldenburg had a chance to make it a three goal lead later in the first half, but a nice stop by Camden's Eliza Gallant held the lead to two going into halftime.
