WAUSA, Neb. (KTIV) - Wausa Public Schools had a multi-million dollar bond on the ballot during the Nov. 4, 2025, elections.
Voters approved the bond with over 60% of the votes in favor of the $2.15 million bond. The unofficial results show 255 in favor and 165 against the bond.
Now that it has passed, the bond’s money will be used to improve and add new facilities to the Wausa school district’s sports complex. A full breakdown of the project can be found in the video below.
According to the school district’s website, the bond will increase property taxes by $2.42 per month for a property valued at $100,000. For a $250,000 property, the monthly increase is $6.04 per month.
