Well, this is the trend and time for horror films, and the decision makes sense technically.
However, the remake of a superhit in one language always faces the risk of comparison by audiences.
Already, Arundhati was remade in Bengali as a scene-to-scene adaptation.
Another point to note is that the North Indian audience themselves made several videos trolling the Bengali version, comparing it with the high standards of the Telugu original.
Now, if a Hindi version comes into the picture after so many years, comparisons are inevitable.
On the other hand, the greater risk lies with Sreeleela, who has to emulate Anushka Shetty.
