Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) rebuked Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) Tuesday after the congresswoman allegedly invoked the senator’s name during a profanity-laced tirade at a South Carolina airport last week.

Mace, who’s running to be the Republican nominee for governor in the Palmetto State, allegedly went off on police at the Charleston International Airport after an apparent mix-up over the color of the car dropping her off resulted in the lawmaker having to wait a few extra minutes for officers to escort her to her gate.

“For reasons that are unclear, Rep. Nancy Mace invoked my name during and in the aftermath of her situation at the Charleston International Airport,” Scott wrote in a Facebook post .
