MANLIUS, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- According to the Town of Manlius Police Department, officers removed 14 dogs from the Dog Gone Inn on Tuesday, Nov. 4, as part of a search warrant.
Police said the warrant comes as part of an investigation in conjunction with the Onondaga County District Attorney's Office, the SPCA, and the Village of Manlius Codes Office.
Manlius Police executed the warrant around 8:50 a.m.
Law enforcement seized four dogs, which are now in the care of the SPCA. 10 dogs were returned to their owners.
Police said the Village of Manlius Codes office locked the business and deemed it unfit for human or animal occupancy.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
