MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Manchester voters headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in municipal elections, including the mayoral race.
Incumbent Republican Mayor Jay Ruais held off Democratic challenger Jessica Spillers by 2,934 votes.
Ruais received 59% of the vote, while Spillers received 41%. A total of 16,302 votes were cast in the mayoral race.

Ruais was first elected mayor in 2023. He said his focus for this term will remain on reducing crime and keeping taxes low.
