A Delta flight scheduled to depart for Minneapolis from LaGuardia Airport in New York City was evacuated before taking off due to an unknown security threat.

Among the passengers on board was Minnesota television and radio celebrity Jason Matheson, the host of "The Jason Show" on FOX9 and the "Jason and Alexis" morning show on My Talk 107.1. He provided a live update from the tarmac at LaGuardia, saying it remained unclear why they were evacuated.

"We were just evacuated from our plane. We don't know why," Matheson said, noting that some passengers were being loaded onto buses that met the plane on the airport grounds.

"We are waiting. Again, we don't have a lot of information," he said. "We got boarded, the plane went a little ways down the runway, stopped for about 40 minutes and then
