MANHATTAN — It didn't start out pretty for Kansas State basketball , but a second-half offensive explosion showed how exciting the Wildcats could be.

The Wildcats earned a 93-64 victory over UNC Greensboro on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Bramlage Coliseum to open the 2025 college basketball season.

Jerome Tang's fourth season started slowly , with the Wildcats struggling to knock down shots, but the Wildcats (1-0) caught fire from 3-point range in the second half to pull away from the Spartans.
