A child was hospitalized after being shot in Humboldt Park on Tuesday night, according to Chicago police.

The girl, 4, was in an apartment in the 3100 block of West Franklin Boulevard at 6:10 p.m. when she was shot in the left leg, police said. She was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition.

No one is in custody.
