A union has accused the state health minister of misrepresenting the escalation of industrial action in a Facebook post.
Health Minister Bridget Archer took to Facebook on the evening of November 4 to update the Tasmanian community about escalated work bans by Health and Community Services Union (HACSU) members.
Mrs Archer said patients deserved to be cared for, regardless of the industrial action and urged the unions to return to the negotiating table.
She said nothing had been cancelled, but the lead negotiator won't meet during industrial action.
"You can't negotiate in that environment. Which is why I am asking the union to reconsider these actions, which are overreaching and come back to the table," she said on Facebook.
