Novi voters were showing early support for a proposed $425 million school bond that would finance renovations and additions at buildings throughout the district over 30 years.
The Novi Community School District bond measure was winning 63%-37% in early results. District officials had said the proposed bond wouldn't result in a tax increase because of rising property values, the retirement of older debt and the ability to refinance debt.
