BILOXI, Miss. (WLOX) - Biloxi City Council meetings in 2025 have often been marred with heated back-and-forth exchanges between the mayor and council members. Tuesday night’s meeting was described as ‘cordial’ and ‘back to business’ by both the mayor and council members.

The meeting started with a surprise announcement that Chick-fil-A is back on track. Biloxi’s Community Development Director Jerry Creel told the council that the Development Review Committee approved new plans submitted by the fast food chain for its future Pass Road location. Final plans will be submitted to the city ‘soon,’ though no timeline was given for when construction will begin.
