Donald Trump professed his love for New Jersey on a Nov. 3 teleconference with supporters of Jack Ciattarelli, the Republican nominee for governor.
“I’m in the state all of the time," the president said. “I love the state and we got to make it really great again.”
But Tuesday, New Jersey's voters didn’t return the love. The message was clear: Please, get out.
