The trailer of Nagarjuna's 'Shiva' was launched at a grand event in Hyderabad, with the actor and director Ram Gopal Varma (RGV), along with his team. The event marked 36 years since the original 'Shiva' made its impact on Telugu cinema, introducing innovative sound and filmmaking techniques.

Director Ram Gopal Varma reflected on the reunion with Nagarjuna and the remastering process. He said, "We never imagined we would be here again for the 'Shiva' 4K re-release. I'm grateful for this opportunity and the creative freedom from Nagarjuna. He always believed in technology and encouraged us to use the best available.
