The Golden State Warriors have seen the progress they were hoping for from Jonathan Kuminga early this season. As a result, head coach Steve Kerr made the decision to permanently assign Kuminga the starter role for the remainder of the year.

Kuminga started in Tuesday’s game against the Phoenix Suns. He finished the game with nine points on 57.1% shooting from the field, five rebounds, two assists, and one steal.

Although Kuminga had a relatively quiet night, the Warriors received strong contributions from their veteran players. Their veteran support led them to a 118-107 victory over the Suns.
