Capt. Jared William (Jerry) Morrow, 27, son of Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Morrow, 1425 Fifth Avenue South, was killed in action Sept. 1, while fighting with Company E, Ninth Infantry Division, in Korea, the war department has notified his parents.
The official wire said:
“The secretary of the army has asked me to express his deep regret that your son Captain Morrow (Jared W.) was killed in action in Korea, Sept. 1, 1950. He was previously reported missing in action same date. Confirming letter follows.” Edward F. W
