Lucas Nobrega scored a hat trick, leading fifth-seeded Holmdel to a 4-0 victory over 12th-seeded Spotswood in the first round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey, Group 2 playoffs in Holmdel.

Dom Poli also contributed to Holmdel’s win, adding a goal and an assist, while Connor Paul and Nate Koenig each finished with an assist.

Amaury Adolphus recorded five saves for Spotswood (10-9).

Holmdel (11-6-2) will visit fourth-seeded Robbinsville in the quarterfinals on Friday at a time to be announced.
