Cicero, N.Y. — Four people were taken to a hospital Tuesday night after a house fire in Cicero.
Firefighters were called around 9:23 p.m. to 5842 Reis Drive for a house fire with heavy smoke and flames, according to Cicero Fire Chief Jim Perrin.
The fire started in a back bedroom, Perrin said. Once firefighters reached that part of the home, it took them about 10 minutes to put the fire out.
Four people inside were taken to a hospital by ambulance for smoke inhalation, Perrin said. Their conditions were not immediately known.
Firefighters also rescued five animals from the home. All were in good condition, Perrin said.
