Parents of students at a Sydney school where a five-year-old girl was hit by a car and killed last week have demanded action to prevent another tragedy.
Isla Metcalfe died in hospital last Thursday after being struck by a ute leaving a Rouse Hill Public School car park.
Victoria Garcia-Todd's nine-year-old daughter goes to the school and she said they contacted the school after the death suggesting the driveway exit be monitored at peak times because the area had a blind spot.
However, Ms Garcia-Todd said the day after she and her husband Jeremy emailed the school and spoke in-person with management about putting someone at the gate to manage traffic, no-one was there.
