India and Israel on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Defence Cooperation to further strengthen their strategic partnership and enhance collaboration in advanced technologies, co-development, and co-production of defence systems. The agreement was inked during the 17th meeting of the India–Israel Joint Working Group (JWG) on Defence Cooperation, held in Tel Aviv.

The meeting was co-chaired by Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh and Director General of the Israeli Ministry of Defence, Maj Gen (Res) Amir Baram. The new MoU provides a unified vision and policy framework to deepen the already robust defence ties between the two nations.
