Salman Khan, the brand ambassador of Rajshree Pan Masala, has landed in legal trouble after senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and Rajasthan High Court Advocate Mohan Singh Honey filed a complaint in the consumer court against the actor and the brand. Accused of misleading consumers through a pan masala advertisement, Khan received a notice from a consumer in Kota for false brand endorsements.

The BJP leader and Rajasthan HC advocate sought a ban on the advertisements and alleged that it misled the consumers. In his complaint to the Kota Consumer Court, Honey named the brand, Rajshree Pan Masala and the Bollywood actor. He claimed that the advertisement misled customers by promoting that the product is ‘saffron-infused’.
