1$1 million Powerball ticket sold at Berks County supermarket
EXETER TOWNSHIP, PA – One lucky Powerball player is holding a ticket worth $1 million after matching five white balls in Saturday’s drawing, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at GIANT Food Stores, located at 4655 Perkiomen Avenue in Exeter Township. It matched the numbers 2, 26, 43, 44, and 62 — missing only the red Powerball number, which was 22 — to land the game’s second-tier prize.
The supermarket will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. The prize, subject to applicable taxes, remains unclaimed as of Monday.
