A major factor in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections is the new MY factor (Mahila + Youth). While youth male voters favour Mahagathabandhan (MGB) with significant Jan Suraaj disruption, women voters across age groups show a tilt toward the ruling National Democratic Alliance. This generational,
and the gender divergence will be critical in shaping the new Bihar government.
As per the Vote Vibe survey, 41% male respondents in the age group of 18-30 years favour MGB, followed by NDA at 34% and Jan Suraaj at 18%.
In terms of caste, NDA enjoys the support of 50% male youth in the general category and 34% in the Scheduled Caste (SC), highlighting a strong presence. The MGB has an overwhelming support of 65% among Muslims and 45% among OBC, including Yadav.
