Those commuting along the M8 eastbound have been warned to expect delays after a multi-vehicle crash during rush hour.
Traffic Scotland reported the collision at around 7.47am on Wednesday November 5.
They said the M8 at Junction 3 was restricted due to the incident which originally blocked lane 2. This led to traffic slowing on approach and delays of up to 16 minutes.
However they updated motorists at 7.55am that the vehicles involved in the crash had been moved to the hard shoulder.
Those travelling along the route have been warned traffic is still travelling slowly on approach with delays of around 14 minutes.
An image from the Traffic Scotland website showed traffic building up eastbound on the M8.
Police Scotland have been approached for comment.
