Despite clocking higher sales, Zydus Wellness Ltd , a consumer wellness company headquartered in Ahmedabad on Wednesday reported a loss of ₹52.8 crore during the second quarter of financial year 2025-26.

Last year, the company — that owns brands like Glucon-D, Complan and Sugar Free — had posted a ₹20.9 crore net profit for the same period. The revenue from sales of the company rose by 31 per cent to ₹643 crore during the second quarter of FY26. “Due to seasonality of some of the group’s products, group’s revenues and group’s profits are skewed in favour of the first and last quarters of the financial year. Hence the performance of these quarters is not representative and cannot be generalised for other quarters,” the company stated in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges.
