Bhubaneswar: A man allegedly attacked his wife and in-laws inside their house at Shishua village under Banki police limits in Cuttack district on Wednesday.

The victim woman has been identified as Pushpa Das.

According to reports, the accused had gone to his in-laws’ residence and engaged in an argument with his wife, demanding that she return home with him. When she refused, he allegedly pulled out a sharp knife and attacked her in a fit of rage, causing severe bleeding injuries.

As her parents tried to rescue her, the accused turned on them and attacked both, leaving all three injured. Locals rushed to the spot, rescued the victims, and shifted them to the Banki Sub-Divisional Hospital.
