After the arrest of a 75-year-old DeTour Village man for alleged criminal sexual conduct involving children, law enforcement officials believe there may be additional victims and witnesses with information related to the case.

The Michigan State Police Sault Ste. Marie Post announced the arrest of Gerard Malkowski in a press release on Monday, Nov. 3. According to the release, the Sault Post first received a tip from a tipline regarding potential criminal sexual activity in April. The information alleged that Malkowski engaged in sexually abusive activity involving a child dating back to 2009.
