A second teenager has been arrested after youths were seen 'fighting with machetes' in Wythenshawe .

Armed officers descended on Hollyhedge Road , near to Benchill tram stop, after 2pm on Monday (November 3).

Greater Manchester Police said it responded to 'reports of a group of people fighting' on the street.

Witnesses reported seeing a knife being initially pulled out on a Metrolink tram, before 'loads of kids' were involved in the disturbance.

Officers arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of breaching court bail, who has since been bailed. It's understood he had not been involved in the disorder.
