The Great British Bake Off, a Channel 4 favourite, aired its eagerly-awaited final last night, with judges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith announcing their 2025 champion.

The final episode saw the remaining bakers, Jasmine Mitchell, Aaron Mountford-Myles and Tom Arden, compete for one last time in the iconic Bake Off tent to claim the prestigious trophy.

Despite Tom's victories in both the technical and showstopper challenges, it was Jasmine who ultimately triumphed - having been crowned Star Baker five times throughout the series. However, the decision to declare Jasmine as the 2025 winner didn't sit well with all viewers.
