The Princess of Wales is set to play a key role in the nation's remembrance events next week, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Kate will be visiting the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire for an Armistice Day service of remembrance next Tuesday.

She will be present at the Armed Forces Memorial service, leading the nation in commemoration on 11 November.

The princess will lay a wreath and participate in the national two-minute silence at 11am.
