Bhubaneswar, Nov 05, 2025: Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) received the “Legend (Emerging) Award” in the Environment Improvement category at the 19th Exceed Environment, CSR & HR Awards 2025, supported by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.

This recognition underscores MRPL’s commitment to environmental protection and sustainable practices. Shri Prasanna Kumar T, General Manager (HSE), accepted the award on behalf of MRPL in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

Key initiatives include advanced waste management, air quality improvement through wet scrubber systems, and water conservation efforts using treated sewage and desalination technologies, positioning MRPL as a leader in environmental stewardship among peers.
