Louisville's Kylah Meyer finished third in the Division II girls race at the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships.

Meyer ran a personal-best 17:59.86 to earn All-Ohio honors.

Meyer finished 36th, 37th and 39th at her first three state cross country meets.

It took Louisville's Kylah Meyer four long years to earn her spot on the podium at the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships .

The wait ... and the hard work ... was worth it.
