TV9 Network and News9live’s Nivriti Mohan has been included in World Book of Records for being the first journalist to report from the world’s highest motorable pass, Mig La in Ladakh.
The Border Roads Organisation (BRO) had last month laid a route across Mig La Pass at an altitude of 19,4000 feet, breaking its own Guinness World Record. The feat was executed under Project Himank. The route has now become the world’s highest motorable road. Mig La has surpassed the previous record held by Umling La (19,024 feet).
Mohan was present there along with cameraman Govind Sharma when the final stretch of road to Mig La was connected — a moment of national pride and perseverance.
