BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Emergency crews responded to a Wednesday morning fire in Moncks Corner.

Officials told News 2 that investigators were “working a structure fire” on Assembly Lane and that one person was believed to have been in the structure at the time of the fire.

Crews are searching for that person.

Fire crews were dispatched to the site around 5:30 a.m. No other details were available.
