South Dakota's Class A and B high school volleyball teams have started their final push to qualify for the upcoming state tournament Nov. 20-22 at Rapid City.

Region play opened on Monday, Nov. 3, for some Class B teams and on Tuesday, Nov. 4 ,for other area Class B teams as well as Class A squads. The top two teams in each region will play in SoDak 16 state-qualifying matches on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

Here's some highlights from area regions.

Region 1A

Quarterfinals (Nov. 4) — No. 4 seed Britton-Hecla 3, No. 5 Redfield 1 (25-20, 19-25, 25-18, 26-24); No. 2 Aberdeen Roncalli 3, No. 7 Milbank 0 (25-11, 25-15, 25-10); and No. 3 Webster Area 3, No. 6 Sisseton 0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-22).
