DOTHAN, Ala. (WDHN) — Temperatures are on the upward climb across The Wiregrass, but the coldest air of the season so far is just days away.
After starting off near 40 degrees and in the lower half of the 40s Wednesday morning, most of us will approach 80 degrees Wednesday afternoon.
At the same time, outside conditions will start to feel warmer as humidity and dew points rise. After dew points started in the 30s/40s earlier, they will make a run for the 60 degree mark by Friday.
This warming trend will continue through the weekend, with highs firmly in the 80s by Saturday. While a few showers are possible by week's end, rainfall totals will be nowhere near enough to put any meaningful dent in our drought conditions.
The biggest story of the week, however, will be the return of winterl
