MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- Day two of the trial for Latoshia Daniels, the woman accused of shooting and killing a Memphis pastor and injuring his wife at their apartment complex in 2019, continues Wednesday morning.

The trial is set to begin at 9:30 a.m.

Latoshia Daniels is facing charges of first-degree murder, criminal attempted first-degree murder, and employing a firearm during a felony after she allegedly fatally shot Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church pastor Brodes Perry.

Tuesday, the prosecution claimed Daniels committed the crime because she was having an affair with Perry, while the defense argued that she acted out of emotion.
